Por que? No comprendo.
I guess I could see how it would complete a Euro or JDM look, but wouldn't it make things difficult?

I always thought it was really silly when one car enthusiast would question another's actions because whatever that person was doing "wasn't practical".
If we all went for the practical route, we'd all be in diesel-hybrid, FWD hatchbacks with fuel efficient automatic transmissions (not that there's anything wrong with that).

I entirely agree with you, and that's why I tried to put it in sort of a nicer way. What I'm really looking for here is someone to explain to me why it has appeal to them. I'm not against the idea, I just don't get it

Why RHD conversion?
Because Racecar

Basically.

I've driven my friend's RHD Legacy postal wagon. (well, it was a postal wagon). Aside from hitting the wiper stalk when changing lanes, it's really easy to get used to.

as long as you aren't hating I see nothing wrong with questioning anything.
I'm more interested in why he didn't put the twin turbo engine in there while he was at it, but there's probably a good reason.

Agree. But the answer is almost always going to be the same, so asking is ultimately moot. Which is to say, there is no reason.

My main goal and reasoning behind buying a RHD car is so that i will be able to go through the fast food drive thrus backwards.

And this is the reason my little brother, who reads all of my posts, is hysterically laughing in the other room.

Hahaha. But, im serious! Hasnt anyone else really wanted to do that. And bank drive thrus. Tolls! The possibilities are endless*!
*actually, they are limited. But who cares.

Express mail delivery?
I'll admit I've considered these things, but I think my goal would be a vehicle with two fully functional sets of controls and gauges for each side, with a bypass switch to disable the unused side.

Not only did he not even use a turbo model to start, but he half assed the conversion. Read the add, HVAC doesn't work and the window switches weren't moved either.

I think... and this is only my opinion and why I know I want it... but I think people want it because its unique...in most of the world... and especially in america where the selection of vehicles is limited to a certain number of companies...finding a car to DD that really stands out is a task...so people take common cars and change them up. Its like adding a tasteful body kit, or nice rims or a fancy paint job. Jah kno?
